Star Vanguards seems to be the best choice for the new title of Star Crackers, the four part book series that will be out in 2019. Star Patrol was taken. Also by putting on an 's' it is not confused for the security company, or the printing company.
The story will follow the misadventures of the starship Vanguard and its crew of barely competent space cops as they investigate strange rebels, discover ancient alien artifacts, and political uprisings by equally inept villain pirates and other riff raff.
Adam Browne and Jon Yeager will use their real names on the book covers.

Vanguard crew goes to space in 2019
Tentatively, there is no title for the four book Star Crackers series but it will be renamed.
The film on YouTube will remain the same.
Curiously, there is some confusion with a new alien race in Star Trek Discovery (as Browne and Yeager seem to predict a lot of Star Trek over the past 30 years), and there is a Red Angel in the new season!
Red Angel in the Star Crackers film is not an alien, but an ancient abandoned star system where a ring of debirs makes it look like a halo, hence the name, thought up in 1992 by Yeager.
The term has been used in other science fiction though, and it sis not something just from Star Trek.
The alien races in the Star Crackers film had been destroyed long ago, so that when humans activated the sphere device, they could not turn it off until getting to the system.
The novels include this star system.
They will not be changing the name of the star system, because it's not similar.
Maybe they will work something out in 2019, and make a deal to also release Starship Chimera.
The upcoming Sillian stories seem to imply there is something going on. They are not Star Crackers.
So the space patrol forces of Clerk and crew will be back in 2019, under another title.
